A two-storey side extension in Penpol, Truro that provides bright open plan spaces for the family and reconnects the home to the garden.

 

A renovation and extension project to this semi-detached house, located just off Restronguet Creek. 

 

We worked with the client to create a proposal that was adaptive to the existing stone cottage character of the property. We have used natural cedar shingles to provide a contrast to the stonework and sash style windows to match the existing property and character of the settlement. The materials used give a contemporary feel with traditional aspects integrated to compliment the surroundings. The property will benefit from light filled spaces and great aspects over its matured gardens.
