PROJECT NAME
TREGLYN
CATEGORY
EXTENSION
LOCATION
ROCK, CORNWALL
An extension to a stone and slate hung featured property, where living space was confined and disconnected from the south facing views and natural light.
A different set of materials were used on the extension to create a striking contrast between old and new. Using a smooth pale white render with large volumes of glazing placed to frame views onto the garden and beyond. A new steel decking provides an extension to the upside down living arrangement. Where bi-fold doors seamlessly connect the indoors with the out. Overall, creating a substantial addition to the traditionally designed house, even including a luxury ground floor bar!
